From Pitch to Art

Made By Stories creates premium collectible cards celebrating iconic sporting moments. The idea is simple: capture the story behind the moment that mattered, and turn it into something fans can actually collect and display.

The Collector

Before Made By Stories, I was just a fan watching rugby, collecting autographs, and building a Pokémon collection I still love. What stuck with me was the art. Pokémon cards always felt like genuine craft, whereas sports cards rarely did.

The Idea

I wondered what sports collectibles would look like if built around real art and moments that actually meant something. I didn't set out to build a business. I just wanted a collection I'd be proud of.

The First Card

The idea became real the moment I created art around Marcus Smith's last-minute winning drop goal vs Ireland, a moment that had stayed with me. Turning it into something I could hold made it feel permanent.
